Body Shop Haul

I have never been inclined to shop at Body Shop for cosmetics, simply because it's not really talked about unlike brands such as MAC, Nars and usual drugstore products! However, while looking for some baby clothes for a friend who has just had a beautiful baby girl; I stopped by the Body Shop Outlet mainly out of curiosity due to the offers that they had in store.

I'm a sucker for discounts,coupons, offers, vouchers and all sorts! You name it! I'm a perfect marketing audience, as long as I feel like I'm not paying full price then I'd feel accomplished and happy! :)

The disadvantage of this, is that I tend to overspend or buy things which I felt 'necessary' at the time. Not so good for my purse, but oh well, I have a confession..... I'm a bit of a shopaholic! Who isn't? We all have our own quirks,passions or hobbies, mine just happens to be shopping among other things.

One of the many offers the store had was - buy 4 products and get 40% off! As you can probably imagine, one product then turned into 5!!! To top it all off, the amazing sales assistants who were so lovely and accommodating, told me all about the Rewards Cards scheme and I got an extra 10%, and a birthday gift worth £5 as it is my birthday month!

There is an annual membership fee of £5 but the benefits outweighs the cost! See here for more details.

I cannot wait to try out all these products and shop again at Body Shop!

Birthday Countdown

A week today I will be turning a year older... It's that time again when I cry for no apparent reason and usually I do an Oscars worthy speech as I thank God and all my family and friends for making my life so great and wonderful etc. etc.!

Even though, my birthday isn't until next week, I've received my first birthday gift and I cannot wait to open it as I already know what it is, simply because i've asked for it! ;-)

The item was delivered gift wrapped which made me feel like it's my birthday today! YAY

But without further ado I present to you the Clarisonic Mia 2!

Finally after months of wanting this, I have finally got it! I can't wait to try this and hopefully I can let you know how I'm getting on with this in a couple of months. I have really bad blemishes so I can easily tell if there has been improvements/changes to my skin.

 The package also came with these sample products so I'm eager to try these out too!

Do you have any birthday traditions or do you do a birthday countdown and spoil/pamper yourself just like me? haha I just love the holidays and special occasions such as birthdays! Everything is so exciting! *insert BIG cheesy grin here!*

Yet another apology and an update!

Hello!

I've read somewhere that it's a no-no in the blog community to always apologise to your readers for the lack of posts - but I'm not one to follow such custom because well I'm different like that and just because someone's said that you should do a,b and c you should do it or else the world ends. To each their own. :-)

Therefore, I apologise to my not-so-many followers and readers that I have been absent in the blogging world. It's appalling that I have been so inconsistent! (shocking, like it's a first? haha)

I have been incessantly busy writing wonderful assignments and doing presentations for college/uni. On top of that, I also work full time and used any spare time I had left meeting friends, going to the gym and catching up with my latest addiction: GAMES OF THRONES! YES... I'm addicted to it - I am now up to date with the Season 3 episodes! YAY *queue happy dance*

I thought I'd use this opportunity to let you know that I am going away next weekend to the Lake District! As you can imagine, I will be eating a lot of food with the family and I will be able to take lots of beautiful pictures. But I am exceptionally excited for this trip as it's my birthday weekend and I definitely need a break after weeks of stress and lack of sleep! It's certainly that kind of holiday where I can just chill and enjoy nature!

Have you got any plans for this coming bank holiday weekend?

Lastly, can we please take a moment to adore this nail polish from American Apparel! I got this polish and 2 others last year from my trip in London, a bit pricey but so worth it! This polish is like a duck-eggy colour reminds me of Barry M's 'Blue Moon' polish but a lot bluer and well a lot prettier as you can see in the picture below.
